STEM week was again a huge success with everyone across school involved in some amazing science, technology, engineering and maths activities. We were very lucky to have a range of visitors in school including engineering workshops by Esh group in Year 2; engineering workshops by Paul Seccombe in Year 4 and 6; and finally some excellent science workshops by Greenshift education in all year groups. Some lucky classes also had the opportunity to go on visits to universities and local secondary schools to see how STEM can be used in careers and other contexts. We hope your child had an excellent week, whatever activities they were involved in, and a big thank you to anyone who came to our family sharing afternoon.
We cannot wait for another successful STEM week next year! For more information on what we got up to please search @UCPrimary on Twitter.
